NearMeNow GMB Only Plan

The NearMeNow GMB (Google my Business) plan will be included in your Deluxe and eCommerce website plan.

Here are the steps in order to complete your NearMeNow account set up:

1. Open the NearMeNow welcome email that was sent to you. Follow the instructions to reset your account password and complete your account set up.
2. Login to your NearMeNow Control Panel.
3. Create your first business location. Learn More.

In this step you will need to provide additional details about the location that you want to set up such as:

• Business Name - Official name of your business that your customers should find online. Please do not add any keyword, category or city, unless it is officially part of the business name. Multiple changes within a short time might result in rejection of the business by directories.
• Address Line 1 (Street and street number) - Enter the location's street and number. Please ensure the correct notation.
• Address Line 2 - For example suite, unit, building, floor. Only necessary if part of the official address.
• ZIP/Postcode - Please enter a valid ZIP/Postal code.
• City/Suburb - Please enter the location's city or suburb.
• Hide my address on directories because I don't serve customers at my business location - If you check this box, your exact address will be hidden on the online directories.
• Phone - Please enter the phone number at which customers may reach you. Please do not enter a mobile phone number. Please do not enter additional characters - such as brackets, hyphens or spaces.
• Categories - Choose up to 10 business categories. Place the most important one first. Enter categories by typing a category's name, then select the category in the drop-down menu.

Once you complete all the needed fields click on the Let's go! button.

On the next page, you will need to enter:

 

• Short Description:

Enter a short description (max. 200 characters and 100 characters for Facebook) of the location or company. 
Content: The description could be about your company history, uniqueness and product or services so that the customers can get to know you better. You can add placeholders *|city|*, *|name|*, *|zip|* to dynamically customize content for the location. Do not input any contact data like Email, Phone or Website.

• Opening Hours - Edit your Business location opening hours.

Once this is completed you will need to submit your location to the directories.

If you choose to skip this step now you can submit the location to the desired directories later on by using the Control Panel.
To do that navigate to Location Hub > Listings > and choose which directory you wish to submit the business location to (for example Google):
