Here are the steps in order to complete your NearMeNow account set up:
1. Open the NearMeNow invitation email that was sent to you. Follow the instructions to create your account.
2. Login to your NearMeNow Control Panel.
3. Create your first business location. Learn More.
To edit your location details select the Location Hub menu located on the left side. Enter your location details:
- Business Name - Official name of your business that your customers should find online. Please do not add any keyword, category or city, unless it is officially part of the business name. Multiple changes within a short time might result in rejection of the business by directories.
- Address Line 1 (Street and street number) - Enter the location's street and number. Please ensure the correct notation.
- Service Areas - A service area defines the area in which the business provides products or services. Service-area businesses can only create one profile for the metropolitan area that they serve. We recommend using a list of zip codes served and these should not be farther than about 80 km / 50 mi from your business. Service areas of the same brand or business should not overlap.
- Hide my address on directories because I don't serve customers at my business location - If you check this box, your exact address will be hidden on the online directories.
-
Categories - The categories we create are based on those that are available in Google. Once a category is added to the tool, we look for the closest match in all other publishers.
Sometimes there is no match in other directories. In this case we look to match the "parent category" or as close a fit as possible.
Contact Info
- Phone - Please enter the phone number at which customers may reach you. Please do not enter a mobile phone number. Please do not enter additional characters - such as brackets, hyphens or spaces.
